The KTM Super Duke 990 may be ageing now, but it remains one of the most distinctive and characterful bikes of recent years. That same spirit shaped the community that grew around superduke.net, a forum filled with invaluable knowledge to help owners maintain, improve, and enjoy their Dukes. Even after many riders moved on or migrated to the KTM 990 Superduke Facebook group, the forum was still a reference point for countless owners.

By 2020, the forum had begun to falter — outages became common, posts disappeared, and it was clear that it was no longer being maintained. In early 2021, I decided to scrape the publicly available content as a personal backup. With help from long-time member Bic, we tried to contact the forum’s owner to keep it alive, but without success. By mid-2021, superduke.net had vanished for good.

A year later, in 2022, I reconstructed the scraped data into this static archive: over 20,000 pages, available both here and on GitHub. The static format keeps costs minimal, requires no ongoing maintenance, and ensures the archive can be easily mirrored in future. Around 30–40% of posts were already missing at the time of the scrape, so you’ll see “Post missing” placeholders where conversations no longer flow — left deliberately, so gaps are clear.
