About the archive

SuperDukeNet is a read-only archive of the original superduke.net forum. It keeps years of workshop advice, ownership experiences, ride reports and banter available to the KTM Super Duke community.

How it came about

By 2020, the old forum had become increasingly unreliable. Outages were common and posts were disappearing. In early 2021, I backed up the publicly available content before more of it was lost. Long-time member Bic helped me try to contact the forum's owner about keeping it running, but we were unable to reach them. By mid-2021, the forum had gone offline for good.

In 2022, I rebuilt that backup as this archive. The pages can be hosted and copied without the original forum software, making the collection easier to keep available. The archive is also available on GitHub.

What survived

This is an incomplete record. Some posts were already missing when the backup was made. Their places are marked Post missing so you can see where a conversation has gaps. Photos and external links may also be missing or no longer work.

Some posts are attributed to the wrong person. It is not clear whether this happened on the original forum or during the backup. Where authorship cannot be verified, the saved username has been left as recorded.

You can browse and search the discussions, but you cannot register, post or reply here. The archive lives at superdukenet.com. The old superduke.net domain is no longer connected to this project.

The people behind the posts

Everything useful here began with someone taking the time to share what they knew. Thanks to the riders who wrote guides, tracked down faults, compared notes and kept the forum going. Many members later moved to the KTM 990 Superduke Facebook group.
