2009 Yamaha V-Max...

Don't know, I like handling, nimbleness and v-twin character personally.... This thing is butt-ugly in a kewl way, and that exhaust -

But c'mon, who doesn't want to try a 1800cc V-Four with 200hp eh??? Some claim this'll be the fastest accelerating production bike ever.
Whatcha'll think?
If i were to type what i think i might have to ban myself.

+1 for NO bong bashing man
Now y'see I don't mind it at all. It's not trying to be a sports bike, more a drag bike for the road. I'd definitely go to the shops on it.
That bike reminds me of that old moped saying "They'er fun to ride, just dont let your friends see ya"
Hey Now..... I had a best friend onced,, he owned one, and this dude named Gary Perry, WALKED-ON-WATER !..... I swear to you,, THE most magnetic person on the planet!

So I hold the bike in HIGH regards, I sold it for his widow, I have a business right on a main strip about 1/2 mile from the University, so selling bikes is easy. (but that one was not) the ride here bout killed me.

when I rode it....I dubbed it unridable! but..... his KTM dirtbike seemed that way too???... I called it an albatross!! underpowered with bad brakes?

If we think deep
It is unfair to compare SD with V-max (both bikes and fast)
It is like we compare olives with cheris (both round and small)
Evrything is good on its own busines...
Some times I think that if I had enough money I would buy
a dirt bike
a travel bike
a road bike
a fast bike
a slow bike
a competition bike
a drug bike
a trial one
and the list goes on...
and the reason is that there is no bike that can do evrything and be the best at evrything.
Its the law of the variety of life...
And believe me this is the magic that keeps things ORIGINAL

I will choose the MT01 over the V-Max at any time.

Handling is probably crap, and the design can be discussed....

Not a option for me for sure.

The V-Max has a great history, and there is a little retro/cult business around it............if you are into that kind of stuff......
