I'm pondering this;
I am at fortyfive degrees north of the equator.
I am six feet tall. I am looking north at my shadow. It is noon on an equinox.
How long is my shadow?
At what time after noon and before noon is my shadow six feet long?
If I was in the tropic of Capricorn at a summer solstice, at high noon, would my shadow be twice as long as it would be on an equinox?
No shadow at winter solstice?

I thought you had been doing really well recently your posts had started making sense and some of your replies amusing, I thought you had turned over a new leaf.

I can answer all these questions easily, as the instruments we design and operate of are all considerate of solar zenith angle as function of longitude/latitude and time/date.

As I'm confident you can't afford my rates, here's a hint: Go to this site, and the rest is trivial trigonometry: ; colleagues of mine developed this tool. The only challenge in this, is the definition of "shadow". Have fun with that.

I agree, he's back on the peyote again and def bogarting.

It's simply science-math that I'm pondering here folks. Not like I'm wondering how many of those virgins are blond that you give up your life on earth in martyrdom to recieve.

I love when I look over to my side and see my shadow riding a mooorsickle right next to me. Specially allong a weeded hillside that lets it dance thruogh the weeds.
