Ok, i do agree most policticians have been in office WAY too long, i'd prefer some common sense in office. Unfortunately there's very little to be found.

Yes the previous administration got this country off track. But the current reckless spending and policies now are far worse and US citizens confirmed this last month.

I dont want to pay anymore taxes either, yet the government needs more money but cant come up with a reasonable way to get it.

I'd like the government to slash their cushy personel by 15% and reduce government salaries by 10%, wonder how big that number would be??? You'll never hear that come up though!

You're ok Maddog just remember we DO need the Bill Gates/Sam Waltons in america as much as you dont like those guys, they employ tons of people and keep america's free-market capital strong. Hate to see where this country would be without them...

Why do liberals think all the rich people in America are Republicans? Are you trying to tell me there are no rich Democrats out there. I think not. If Democrats want to give more of their money to the Feds then they have every right to do it. If they want to give their money to lazy poor people so they can buy pot and booze and stay on unemployment then do it, but don't make a poor republican like myself pay for it. I work hard for my money and want to keep as much of it as possible so I can spend it all on my Superduke. And don't tell me there are no jobs out there I see help wanted signs everywhere. They just aren't the jobs people want, but it is better to have a job you might not like so much then live off the dead broke government causing the government to be even more broke. I went from making 55K a year to making less than 30K but at least I can have respect for myself knowing I take care of myself. Unemployment needs to be temporary not permanent. Okay I'm done now. Oafboy,, first I am not a liberal , second I've always earned my money , nothing has ever been given to me,, and there are no jobs out there , guessing you've never been laid off, the job's you are refering to "being out there" are minimum wage ,, I was making over a grand a week for the last 20 years in my trade,, always somewhere else to go to work , and always for better money,, don't know what your thinking on the job market, obviously you have no idea as it hasn't hit you personaly, I am not lazy , never have been,, I almost was killed doing my trade, working for a Republican who didn't care about his workers or proper saftey procedures, the last time I saw that shmuck was when I was faceing being paralysed for perhaps life , and all he did was bring me a Dr.Pepper and asked me if it hurt at all,, didn't give a f$$k,,all he would think about was renovating his summer home on an island in Maine,flying his plane, why don't you go find a new job Wendy's , Micky D's,, all are hiring , go for it,, could be you won't have to give your blood to em but of course you won't be able to keep your home or feed your family either,, all you "could do""is take care of yourself,,in my state,,,, oh yeah, run by a bum democrat, who wanted to ride around in a caddy instead of the crown vic supplied by the state,,, these people in govornment are and alway's will be , crooks,,,it's a way of life for them now,, liberal my ass

Allright every body, back to the grindstone. Actually I have been laid off before, hence the pay cut. I was even on unemployment for 6 months not even looking for a job, but within two weeks of actually looking for a job I found one. It didn't pay as much but at least I wasn't living off the government anymore. Course I did have to move from Santa Barbara, maybe you've heard of it Oprah has a house near there, to the crappy farm town I live in now, but once again I take care of myself. It sucks you got hurt and your boss didn't care but it's not like that everywhere. You just had an asshole boss. As for people loosing their houses it's not my fault as a tax payer that people bought houses they knew they couldn't afford or didn't have enough money put aside in case of an emergency. I'm not saying this is you by the way. When I made more money I could've bought a house but I knew I couldn't actually afford one especially out here in Cali where I live. You're right about politicians they are all crooks or thieves or both. More Americans just need to start sucking it up and adapting to new situations. That what this country was founded on. I have friends who work 2 jobs to provide for them and their kids. It's time for more people to do the same.
Oh yeah Maddog I still like you because you ride a Superduke. Plus I don't hold any hard feelings toward anyone. Part of growing up in San Diego which is ultra laid back I guess.

The new law is going to apply to pre 2013 bikes I take it. i guess I better keep my boat anchor in case I ever have to put it back on. The sad thing is my car is almost as loud as my bike and the state is fine with that. Even worse is I drive my car all over town and pretty much only ride my bike on back roads where there are very few people to hear it.
