Another night in the worshop

Another night popping out to my out-buildings for a sneaky fag and a gin and tonic. Superduke relegated to less than honourable guest in a garage converted, temporarily, to a woodworking shop to make my kitchen work-surfaces. Sort of hate having cleanliness and metal tools, the smell of oil, petrol, etc. overtaken by sawdust, dust and the heady smell of teak oil. Prefer torque wrenches and allen keys to routers and sandpaper.

But it's all good and I like sitting there, even though it's cold and pissing down outside. Having a fag, contemplating life and sitting on my bike like a 15 year old, just good to be the owner of this great bike and loving every minute I've had it.

I stack crates of luverly Tanglefoot next to my beloved SD, so if I'm not enjoying one I'm enjoying the other, and with the wife going through the menopause, beer is healing my pains as I'm not riding the 2 things I like

I don't have these problems, I gave up smoking ages ago!

I find myself in a similar situation. Ducking out into the garage, drinking some Trader Joes whiskey and listening to the rain hammering on the roof after the kids go to bed. I also have a chop saw and a wall full of carpentry junk that is getting in the way of my motorcycle storage.
