Are these leathers gay?

OK, so maybe this should be an extension of my earlier post about Dainese leathers and my search for a (used and therefor good value) replacement to my shit Alpine Stars because the zips all broke. But I wanted to start fresh.

So, I'm kind of into black, understated leathers. Totally not into the neon, flashtastic, multi-colored stuff. Biking through in the early nineties put that all into perspective - I once owned a set of boots with pink, (YES PINK!) splattered patterns on it. Remember Foggy's leathers when he rode as a privateer in the IOM? Hideous!!!!

Found this two piece at the right price and the right size. But I really want just black - there's nothing out there though. Watching a couple of Wolf leathers suits that are black but they are both one piece and I already have a one piece for trackdays, what I need is a two piece.

BUT... is this black, white leathers thing gay or what? I put the question to the forum.

My partner, Amy, thinks these look cool. But I'm not so sure.

I think they look good.

I'm a big fan of black on black too, but I could easily tolerate those.

Just make sure they don't make your butt look too big and get the right accesories, it is all in the way You accessorize. I still think you can throw in a little pink, it is the new orange ya know.

I've got 5 one piece suits - I must admit I have a soft spot for my Scott Ru$$ell rep suit - on a orange bike it looks like I've ram raided a paint factory!

I had no idea what I was starting here!

Anyway, they will arrive later this week and based on my 500 miles down to Dorset this weekend I reckon I could get the whole lot of white bits covered in splattered flies in less than a month. There's no way they will be white for long anyway.
