Happy Australia day people, I love public holidays especially this one as the local Rotary and Lions clubs usually put on a big breakfast at the local park with entertainment and rides.

Sadly, this one got canned, the park is under water as we just got over 9 inches of rain in the last two days

Anyway, still got a day off work
Yes.. happy Australia day to all those concerned.

Now dont get me started on the floodwater!! In the downpour my girlfriend drove my Beloved Renault Clio Sport through a fence and into a flooded river.

Somone save her so she is all good, my car however is somewhere in the ocean by now. And she thinks i am going to give her another car with the insurance money

it will pay off the SD; after 3 years of free riding (or should that be driving) she can get her own car!!!

Ok rant over
yeah, happy 'Straya day.

MrZ, you've heard the one about the Clio and the Taurus, right ?. You'll be better off without it. Harden the fk up !.
clio and taurus? enlighten me...

the clio i had was set up for hill climbs...

-made a set of individual throttle bodies for it (modified from a gsxr1300)
-big 270 deg duration cams
-custom carbon airbox and intake trumpets (not DVS )
-hacked ecu (similar to tune ecu)
-full racetec exhaust system including 4-2-1 headers
-quafe lsd
-full bilstein coilovers
-adjustable wishbones in the front
-whiteline sway bars
-semi stripped out interior

ended up with 220hp at the wheels and one of the sweetest handling cars i have ever driven... looking back at it i probably should never her let her use the thing... its just that bikes were even more fun

and yes all the work was done by me (and my mate when there was beer around) in my car port

it had such a characterful engine... real shame.. similar charm as the SD... underdog punching above its weight

I'm not that fond of frog cars in general but over in Belgium my mate has the local Renault dealer ship.
Last time I was there he handed over the keys to his own Clio Williams. All I can say is brrrmmmm brrrrmmmm!
What a nice hatch and it moves and handles so well. Wouldn't mind one myself actually.

But don't let your missus drive it James...
