ummm well yes kind of.....

chopped the tips off my 1st and 2nd fingers on the my left hand.while prepping my 92 WR250 for SM racing at 11pm.
Had to be driven to the hospital where I went straight into emergency.
waited about 15mins for a doctors, gave me 2 injects per finger to numb the pain.
Said it lasted 20 mins and that he would be back soon.
15 mins later he turns up, stitches up the 1st finger and its hurting.
saids to me can you feel that .... ah yeah pretty much i says.
he saids "you have 2 options 1. I give you more pain killers and you stay here overnight for observation, 2. I stitch you up and you go home."
i said "I ain't staying here so you better stitch me up"
f**kin H hell if that is not the second most painful thing I have ever had done to me!

But i got to go racing the next day - as a spectator
