Belgian Motorcycle alarm

The guy was very proud of his invention-"

It looks nice and loose, just flip it 180* on your way past, 20 nice little speed holes in his seat. Seriously though, would that stop anyone who wanted to take his bike? I think the studded seats and custard paint would be more of a deterant.
