Best time of year to sell a bike?

Guys,

from general experience (probably mostly valid for UK guys only, though all opinions welcome) , when's the best time of year to sell a bike? Spring, start of summer, or middle of summer?? I'm assuming end of summer and anytime cold/wet is a bad idea...

Of all the bikes I've ever sold , time of year didn't matter, as I always had the right "product" to sell,, and was prepaired to wait to get the price I wanted,, now day's I know I was crazy to sell anything I ever owned and should have just stored them until my interest in em came back,, now my interest is back and they aren't there,, my mistake,,,

Late spring - May, when things start warming up a bit I'd say.
