Currently prepping '06 daily commuter with 26k on the clock for 8-week, ~7,500km trip.
I've done / doing : new rubber, new battery, full service + valve check, water-pump kit.................anything I've missed???
Are you on the original clutch slave cylinder? I'm guessing not, I had one fail on my 950SM, not good when you are a long way from home. They are a part that tends to fail around 15k miles.
New chain and sprockets?

I'd be inclined to fit/take a new reg/rec.
Yep clutch slave and rec/reg in backpack just in case.
Cheers guys!
Chain + sprockets just replaced as with clutch slave (http://www.sigutech.com/english/e-kuppl ... rzylinder/)...........spare reg / rec excellent idea as anything electrical, I'm as useless as tits on a bull!
Am also thinking of exhaust gaskets.............seen a couple of photos on this site of not much remaining??
