Blizzards, Bushfires Floods - not all in Australia

It's so bloody hot at the moment, it's hard to do a decent ride.
Went over to Sofala through Bathurst yesterday and the air temp got over 39 deg C (over the ton on the old scale). Pretty hot for our altitude. 45 deg temps down on the coast.

I hope Gary (JAWK) is clear of the bushfires in Victoria - over 100 houses gone and 25 killed and fires reported in Gary's area.

We went through our hottest day on record yesterday 46.4 hot north winds scary. the wind change hit us like a train about 5.30 luckily it blew nearby fires away from us
Stayed at home all day even though we were prepaid to do the Triumph rally near Myrtleford, with all the fires going this was a good choice. The latest Ive heard is fire is still serious near Beechworth near Jawks place just PMed him to wish him well.

King lake and marysville upset me - been there heaps of times as would most road bike riders that go to the island or melbourne from the north.

Wife Trace and baby Lilli are staying in wodonga tonight - I will leave the place and join them closer to dark after moving horses and stuff. Got not superduke to move coz the bloody thing already burnt last month!!
