#19i think youll find that any brand is going to have examples of major failure here and there, even Honda. but BMW are known for reliability, thats one of the reasons you buy them. they cover hundreds of thousands of miles and keep going.
personally i dont like the brand find them very hard to look at. i seem to be drawn to high maintenence types, KTM, Ducati, etc...

#27I'd get an S1000RR if I were out for an arse-up-heads-down bike. Thanks to my tuned mass damper I carry around my waist I don't easily fold into that arse-up-heads-down-heels-up-your-bum-position.
