#5I grew up 15 miles from that hill and believe me its steep! A m8 won it about 5 years ago and then broke his ankle trying to defend the title the following year. Always at least a broken ankle or 2 on the day, ambulances parked up at the bottom to ferry off the injured.
Think it all goes back to some pagan festival back can't remember exactly what now.

we do some very strange things in the Cotswolds Though some of the roads are SD heaven! I moved to London where things are not quite so strange.
