cold weather riding

when it gets cold i put a thermal undrlayer on under my one piece leathers but every year i suffer, i need somethhing to go over my top half to keep the wind out, what do you guys do.

It looks a little goofy but keeps me warm.

I've also thought about getting this and removing the armor to wear over my regular gear:

tried several but fav is a windproof shell with a thin polar fleece ,I wear it over t shirt and put my leather or most often my textile jacket over ,the (hardest part of finding the right one for me was one with thinner cuffs) so I could still move around ,some of our pics this summer in the rain and ice on the lake we went past I had on t shirt sweat shirt vest windbraker rain jacket and textile jacket ,on way back I wore t shirt wind proof shell with polar fleece textile jacket that had been scotch gaurded to make it water proof lasted for 4 hrs of rain was damp but not cold ,and didnt look like a good year blimp any longer ,when we were on our way back at night my bike was flashing the snow flake ,but was comfy was also using short wind deflector towards end of trip so I was getting blasted hope that helps out jacket was $75.00 nothing really special

cheers wreb, & cj that wind buddy looks good ive tried a couple of textile jackets but they wont go over my leathers, i dont want to buy a whole new set of riding gear for winter coz im only out for a hour or two, a stretchy wind proof fleese would be good, just got to find one in the uk.

What you rearley need is one of theys ,



and an EDZ micro fleace under you lethers the eclipse is one of the best peaces of kit you will ever wear in the cold or in the rain ,and packs down to nuthing for cold summer evernings ,and grate for track days when its damp .All my lether wearing mates all yous them now ,and I wood not be with out mine this time of year .
