I was watching an old 500 race yesterday on OneHD with Mighty Mick in it, bring back that type of racing!

surely you jest! stoner was a lot more composed and professional at rossi' do or die move than rossi was when biaggi gave him the elbow! It's fairly obvious stoner was unhappy, whether he had any right to be i don't know, he fell off and while he admitted it was all his it still pissed him off. I thought he handled himself well, they're all super competitive, it's easy to be flippant and dismissive like rossi was when you come away with the win. IIRC rossi has lost his cool on more than one occasion, on track as well as on the steps of the rostrum.

It was a track day and yes not supposed to pass on the inside but this nut did and he was on the friggin ripple strip LOL!!

dont worry about stoner guys, i want him to destroy all this year, they havent even beem playing around with suspension yet during testing, its all just been left as is and other areas of the bike getting sorted before they chase a good set up.

As for whinging?? Rossi is king whinger when someone pulls a passing move on him that he does to others.

he sure is! and the man has no loyalty whatsoever, what about the hissy fit he threw over wanting bridgestones mid year! he was the driving force behind the one tyre formula because michelin were getting their butt kicked by bridgestone, i'll bet he would have had his little gay lord minnion reading the fine print on his contract for sure!
still, you don't get to be what, 9? times world champion without being self centred, and ruthless!

yes you are right, but other than stoner no one was really doing much with the bridgestones, i remember Rossi saying he would never ride for ciggarette sponsorship (that didnt last long) (yamaha) i guess money solves all.

As for 9 championships, most of them were easy (yes he has them now) the V5 honda was pretty much unbeatable for 3 years there were no real riders with any substance that could challenge him, he was lucky a few times when they were pretty much giffted to him, capparossi was on a good thing to win the championship until gibernau hit him at cataluna and broke his wrist, then in 09 stoner had it in the bag and got sick (lactose intolerance) 3 races of spewing in helmet and nearly passing out, then taking 4 races off to recover.

You can see him now taking a lot more risks (broken leg) trying to keep up with the much faster young guys (still learning the art of racing though) and having to really fight for the wins.

I take nothing away from the man(he can ride a bike like most others cant), just saying most of his championships were easy ones.

On the matter of Rossi, Is he a homo? Always has his boyfriend with him so I was just wondering.
Also every time he rides out from the pitts he stands up and looks like he is picking something out of his butt.

I agree with MRZ32 on the Aboriginal issue that it is a problem that has gotten worst because of Government handouts.
I beleive if you saw the amount of money that is spent on Aboriginal welfare in Australia you would be shocked and question why some live the way they do.

What a lot of foreign people do not realise is that Aboriginals are not one people but Austrlaia wide are made up 100`s of individual tribes, many that do not get on with each other, this causes wasted money through corruption when "X" tribe is directly in charge of the money.

A lot of what you see on TV is of towns or missions were there is no employment (even for white people) which leads to boredom which leads to vandalisim and violence.
The worst enemy is alcohol however you cannot tell one race of people you can drink and the other you can`t

I have a lot of respect for Aboriginals and beilive thier culture should be preserved but they need to also help themselves , of which I personally know of a lot that have done this and done very well.

Unless you live here and see what goes on you cannot make a judgment on how WE treat them.

And are you seriously comparing being gay to someone who practices beastiallity?? If that is the case you need to take a fooking long hard look in the mirror m8. I had written a long reply to this but chose to delete it as I could see the whole thing getting out of hand and possibly causing bad feeling amongst some members.

All I will say though is that I`m Hetro and do not go about making a statement about my sexuality in a open way that gay people do.
I don`t hate gays but please keep your sexual preferences to yourself.

Am I regretting mentioning the Aboriginal thing now That was perhaps a stupid thing to mention as it's allowed you to deflect from the original argument of the blatant homophobia being posted on here. My comment wasn't aimed at how the state treats Aboriginals and more at the way Aussie m8s used to refer/names used to describe them.

Yes England carried out some terrible atrocities around the world in the days of the Empire, no one would deny that. That however was a long time ago and should we apologise for crimes committed by our great and great, great grand parents? I don't expect the great grand children of the Nazis to apologize for the crimes committed by the Third Reich. We know it was wrong as modern Germans know what happened then was wrong.

The homophobic comments however are being made on here now and I find then distasteful. I'm sure there are a few gay Super Duke owners out there and so they could easily be members on here. Racism isn't tolerated any more and I'm sorry but neither is Homophobia. I really hope your not trying to tell me that homophobia is part of the Aussie culture??

Anyway can we please get the conversation back to whether Stoner is a whinger or not and how he will get on this season. Any homophobic comments please keep them for PMs and other forums. Thanks.

I also disagree with closing a public forum because someone has taken offence to what has been posted, this is why all the PC crap is taking over our lives.

Come on loony it's not necessarily about what I find offensive, although I admit I find bigotry offensive. It's about the fact that there is more than just myself and the guys who posted offensive remarks in this thread reading this forum. A line has to be drawn in the sand somewhere, you may not agree with the mods (it was a joint decision) where that line is but the line is where comments cross into bigotry. On the whole this forum is fantastic as this kinda stuff rarely crops up. This is an open forum and as such we just ask that offensive remarks like this not be posted. I happen to have several gay friends and as such it struck a nerve. I also knew a guy killed in the Soho bombing that was planted to kill gay men. Again perhaps why I bite so hard.

Anyway all we ask is that bigotry be kept away from the forum. That way these ridiculas forum based arguments don't happen and SD.net carries on being a happy place where we talk about the bikes we love.

Homophobes, hippies, Nazis and gaylords are all wecome here, (as long as you ride a KTM) but getting offensive and falling out isn't so welcome. We don't want this forum to be PC ( ). We just want to keep it civil, and a fun place to be.

Point taken about moderation remaining neutral. It takes a while to learn how to do this stuff properly, as it's hard not to have an opinion. Apologies on behalf of the mods.

Please let's respect everyone's viewpoint and move on.

could we please get a rules section together then... so that we can tick boxes off to make sure that we have not breached the rules... if it stays within these rules then it is legit and personal opinions can not sway if people are banned or threads closed? I think that this would be a good way of dealing with this...

i must admit... australia and america are countries that are a bit against PC (from what i can see)... i think to a point it is a good thing and useful for the survival of a culture... but that is my view point. I think people in more PC or accepting cultures need to understand that we are being fairly good on here, but some things do hit a nerve... just like things may hit your nerve.

i must admit klink... the first time i saw your avatar i thought you may have been a white supremesist... the whole austrian bike company, white power suspension... etc... but i do see the humour

although i do hate hitler and all that stand for the want for destruction

Oh for fooksake, I come back to this link thinking its a great discussion about Rossi and Stoner, now members are WHIGNING about who's fooking gay and what not, avatars have changed, and apologies are abound. Fook lets just give each other a big group huge and get over it.

Stop? I'm only just getting started! Spent 10 years as a professional photographer and so I can drag up all kinds of homo erotic images from then. I was actually planning a European ride in 2009 with my brother and we were going to visit Auschwitz. It's meant to be a haunting place that is never going to have a' feel good factor' to it but sometimes it's good to go and see these things and remember what we are capable of and to never let such things happen again. From what I have heard and read it can have a very profound effect on the people that go there.
We didn't do the trip in the end for various reasons, one of which is my bro rides like a girl these days and I'd be waiting for him every 10 miles or so Far too far to ride at a sedate pace for me. It's still somewhere I would like to visit in the future though.

crump has won it three times now, with gollob winning his first in 2010, you should watch it it's great racing, and it's a bit like watching music videos, a 4 lap race doesn't last long so you can get beers without missing any action.

I am not a stoner fan at all............. but on his day when his head is right, no one can touch him. Unfortunately he behaves like a 2@ with his tantrums on the track gesturing and kicking his leg or trying to edge someone out cos he did not like what they were doing. And then having a strop in the pit garage and pulling that toothy 2@ face.He is a strong contender for the title this year, but he needs the maturity of Lorenzo's head, (see last year).My MCN fantasy team for Moto Gp this year is Lorenzo and Simoncelli

Whatever happens in this year's motoGP it's got a great start with all the main rivals (riders and factories) squaring up for a proper punch-up.

For the first time in a while Rossi has some real enemies on track and his rivals are on awesome machines, while he has some serious issues from last year to put behind him, and his dreams come true riding on a Ducati. Tiny-man Pedrosa still needs to make a bigger mark, Toothy-whinger Stoner is on an awesome machine, Poster-boy Spies finally get's his factory bike, Dovidsioso looking like the real-deal, Robot-boy Lorenzo has a championship to defend without Rossi in the next door garage winding him up, and the new young up-and-comers like Simoncelli are turning-in some seriously good performances.

All of them are likely to be the hungriest we've EVER seen.

Personally I'd like to see Rossi come from behind the points to just clinch a championship win in the final few rounds, with the sportsmen-like Spies, Hayden and Dovi showing the annoying whingers; Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Stoner, that they're not so special after all...

Hayden has alway's been in my mind a hillbilly that may be having sex with his cousin horny for any hole he can find better watch out if it's dark TBH he's quite "aprochable" as a "star" rider, more so than some and it would be good to see a guy from the US win or at least place up on a step,, he can ride,,,
