I just bought a pair of these boots this morning and wanted to let you guys know my impressions so far. I've been needing a pair of riding boots for a long time now and had pretty much decided on getting a good dual sport touring boot. But the Sidi Adventure boots I want are going to take awhile to save for. So in the mean time, I spotted these on sale for $69 and thought I'd give them a go. I took them out for a 45 mile ride in 95 degree (farenheit) weather and I have to say, my feet stayed cool. Being a ventilated boot, I expected a lot and wasn't disappointed. They were also surprisingly comfortable. I bought a size larger than what i normally wear because they seem to run almost a full size small. They required zero break-in and were very flexible right from the start. They seem to have a decent sole on them and while they cannot compare to a high quality track boot, I'd have no reservation recommending them as a street boot. They have external ankle protection as well as pretty good toe and heel reinforcement. Oh yeah, they've got good shin protection too. If you need a cheap pair of leather boots that are way better than regular shoes, look no further.
