Dead On Here Lately

fookin hell it is dead on here lately. Have we said all there is to say about a bike developed in 2005 and hardly revised since?

I know Freestyler and Superdan rode off into the sunset on twohomo's, Motoronin has developed narcolepsy. Then everyone that isnt falling off a Superduke is trying to sell one. Where are all the new blood starting threads about poor fueling or harsh throttle or hard suspension or does anybody know how to make the Superduke as poofy as a street triple?

If things do not improve I may have to trade in for an S1000RR, join their forum and call myself Squarehead Luke.
Actually I would prefer an RSV4 and join their forum as Surrender Luke.
Worse way I could buy a Gixxer thou and join their forum as Unimaginative cunt with the same bike as everyone else Luke.
Although I do quite fancy a Multistrada 1200 and they are all high mileage touring types. So I could be Sore arse Luke on there.

It has been dead on here of late. Winter doesn't help mind. Hopefully as the weather improves so will the banter.

Maybe get the royal wedding Triumph and be Ring Bearer Luke?

Yeah it's dead, give people some time to get the bikes out. Still a fair bit of snow on the ground around here, but the temps are starting to head above freezing so.... back to the bike, maybe out by next week if we get enough rain to get the salt off the roads.

Frost has been wreaking havoc on the roads around here. Expect to see a few threads about converting the SD to long travel suspension and sand tyres

Seems like we are all pent up for some good crap and end up on the fifteen page thread on levers.
Zen added some good shit recently and will surely get red hot in no tyme. I truly believe that the avatar placement on the right has drasticly damaged the site. All threaders are now right brained heavy and we all end up with nothing left. It will be no tyme at all before fear of offending gays and Muslims will exnay the scantly clad and we will be left with androids in babushkas. Good luke luck.

still a bit confused as to why you bought a Tuono... didn't you sell the SD to buy a house or something? or are you living on the (hopefully not cheqeured) Aprillia? those chequered paint schemes really are quite gay...

Sold the SD to pay for combi boiler as I had no heating, as I had just moved into a house could not get a loan/credit card etc (I tried!), I think I lost a bit of faith in the bike after my off's last year too, plus I would spend a fortune re-blinging it as I needed to sell those bits to buy the house in November.

I was not planning on getting another bike this year but then came across it and it was a good price to be fair, 4500 for 08 plate with akras and 5k miles, always wanted to try one and it was a toss up between that an the SD before I plumped for the SD.

I can not afford 6k for an SDR (dont want another SD) at the moment and the expense of akras/motobox etc etc etc, thought I could leave the Tuono fairly standard as it has heaps of power. However the rear shock is JUNK and will need to replace it for my kind of riding.

Did I want another SD? yes, could I afford an 08 SDR? no so plumped for Tuono instead, agreed its not the best looking and not as good as the SD but at least I have two wheels
