#9Shade, that sounds really good. I'd love to see it on a big screen again! We should maybe have an SDnet biker fright night. The UK distributor was MIA, but I've a feeling they went bust recently. I'd have to check with the sales agent what the status is, but for a screening, we could prolly sort that anyway. The film was remastered from the negs for the dvd release onto digibeta. Do you have a way to run off that? As I think finding a combined print might be rather difficult. We sold em all to foreign distributors when we sold the pic overseas. We shoulda kept one!

#10Digibeta is no problem for me mate, we've got lots of shiney kit at my place. You're welcome to pop down for a cup of projection tea anytime mate, I've even got off street parking for your SD!

I was a failed screenwriter at uni. Now I am a failing haulage company owner.
Either next year or year after I plan to do Phil Parkers M.A in screenwriting at London College of Printers.
Do you have any experience of this course? Or any of the alternatives? I know there is another in the third world somewhere....Oh yes, Liverpool!
Cant go there though, already in a minority group with the SD. I wouldnt want to join another, literate Liverpudlians. They can all draw though ............... most of them draw benfits

I do like the screenwriting courses though I have done several. Trouble is I feel a bit of a fraud as mostly they are full of young writers who want to progress and make a career of it.
Same feeling when I go in fast group on trackdays and find it is full of club racers. I've been there years ago and found out I didnt have it. Now it is just fun to me. But almost everyone else out there is of the 'kill em and eat em' mentality. Now they get a kick out of getting past me and I get a kick out of staying out of the gravel.
I do think I have, maybe, one great screenplay in me. But every year that goes by I get less inclined to put it out there and find out. I guess, for most of us life is better lived with the 'what could have beens' than cope wth the rejection.
