Big blow coming.

You boys all good?

Best,

Rob
Cheers, Debbie is making landfall over Bowen very soon about 1400km North. Brisbane is a long way down from there luckily.
Its not looking great, tipped to reach a Cat 4 Cyclone (up to 280kmh using our intensity scale).
Hoping it de-intensifies and dissipates quickly. Crossing our fingers the damage is minimal and the locals all stay safe.

Bit of piss and wind by the looks, not their first.
Let the clean up commence.
Looks like we have the tail end heading our way expecting 8" of rain in 24 hours 40 to 60 mph winds.
Should be fun riding to work
Still waiting for the rain to hit

Holy crap! Hope you guys and your families are ok.

Living in FL, I'm quite familiar with Hurricane preparedness and how devastating a storm can be.

Best of luck,

Hope you guys park your Holdens on high ground.

Really though, stay safe.
Stuff Holdens! I need to get a bike with rain mode
Jokes aside it's been crazy the rain started to slowed down early hours of this morning and then we got hit with high winds it's still blowing right now 8am but nothing like it was.
South Queensland and northern NSW got smashed by the flood waters. Some rivers peaking 11mtr over on a sunny day. Even took out the road over springbrook, pine mountain road. Hope everyone in here was high and dry.

We only lost power at home (east of Brisbane) for 14 hrs and have a wayward rear fence now (leaning at about 10 degrees).
Work closed the office for 2 days (City) but rode through the rain and wind both days.
Quite trivial compared to all the destruction in QLD and NSW.
Was a lot worse than they anticipated. Northern NSW looks like Brisbane in 2011 .... feeling for everyone affected.

We got the remnants of cyclone Debbie hitting us now, nearly 200mm of rain, and some big wind coming, last weekend we got big swells rolling in, couldn't take my boat out 1.5 meter swells breaking over the bar, surfers were having a ball.
Hopefully NZ doesn't get anything too bad !.
too late - it's got kiwis ......
