Ok its been awhile since i've posted i've been on a downer since selling my superduke R at the back end of last year
i've still got toys but im not a happy chappy ive got chance to buy my old x battle bike back its ex Pat Mcdoogle ktm battle superduke i bought it with 545 miles on the clock as it was the spare bike i sold it my mate to buy my sdr & at 1st i hated the sdr as the battle bike felt a lot faster and tighter !!!!!
My dilemma is my mate did one run to scotland on it and its been parked up ever since hence the do i or don't i ?
what do i offer him on it as its a 2008 with the newer shapped head light and clock ( i fitted them) akos and now hes fitted a sdr rear end to it !!!!
its got a brand new rear rubber on it but its not been run since late 2011

Or do i just sell my supermoto and buy the new shape sdr instead of settling on 2nd best

My toys now

Do it!

You know the bike already, if you do then feel the need for the extra bragging rights of the 1290, thats when you can sell your current toys

Quick question, what was the difference between the 08 and 09 headlight/clocks....

Just bid on the 1290 on ebay!

But if too dear then yes, get the battle bike. I had an LC4 before the SD and I know the feeling of those vibes at anything over 70!! Supermotos are solo much fun but not on an open roads. I was always trying to get across country on roads smaller than B roads. It was mad and fun but took forever.
