Well we had a discussion at work today. I hate shit music made/sung by pretty blokes. Take That, West Life etc etc.
Got me thinking. Who makes better music than:

Any more you can think of?
I'm not saying I rate all this stuff but it's proper classic modern music that is standing the test of time on it's merits rather than dumb pretty boys with marketing muscle.
The above all sold and achieved acclaim in spite of their looks rather than because of them.
