I dont watch MMA as I have said before but I just dont get it.
When I was fighting there were a few giveaways that used to let you recognise a rough handfull and I just dont see them here.
I used to know Nigel Benn when he was a middleweight, so fighting at 11 st 6, I was about 11st 6 at the time (Nigel Benn was walking around about 13 stone when not fighting). One time I got the stats and compared myself to him. Neck, bicep, waist, thigh were all about the same measurements. However, Benn's hands were twice the size of mine, wrists were likewise. This was a guy that could throw hard punches all night long.
I met Chris Eubank too and likewise, a big guy in a little guy's body.
Koga, who you posted before was intimidating as his technique was so perfect and he was so dynamically fast. I have never seen his like before or since. However, I trained a lot with Kashiwazaki (under 65kg) World Champ during his tenure at the Budokwai (1983/4 as I recall) again he, at 10.5 stone could bench twice his bodyweight for sets of 10 another big guy in a little guys body.
None, that I have seen, of these MMA guys seem to have that. That guy may be a good fighter but I dont see much scary about him. The MMA women scare me. I would like to shag them but I wouldnt want to be around on blob week.
