When I was twelve, a friend and I found a 1969 Honda Dream in the woods of Massachusetts. Someone took it for a joy ride and left it. We (Angelo Petrucci and I) took it to his house and his dad called the cops. The came over and stated that they would file a found property and asked if Mr.Petrucci would leave it in his garage. The owner had 90 days and if it was not claimed then owners keepers, loosers wheepers. Angelo and I went into his garage every day after school and counted like a kid at Christmas. I cannot recall how many days went by but suffice to say there were not 90 and we never got to ride the bike or meet the owner or get a reward, nothing. He picked it up while we were at school and our dreams were shattered in more ways than one.
I just bought a 1969 CA160E, what is commonly reffered to as the Little Dream. Darn thing is a quality little putts about and given two or three minutes of full throttle on a level road, can it up to some decent speed.
I feel like I am 12 years old tinkering away on my little dream. I wont hang on too long as I like to Recycle, but still It harkens me back to a tyme when 160 cc's was spoken and feared in the same breath.

My first ever motorcycle experience was a '69 Mach III, the first of the infamous Kaw triples, great bike to learn on.
Another one that sticks with me was the Bultaco Metralla of a friend, who warned me about the non standard controls but otherwise just turned me loose on it. It was kind of the SD of its day, loud, obnoxious, and fun.
