Ducati sold to Audi?

I'd say the Japanese big 4 are already there: Huge and diverse.

Ducati, in contrast, is puny. Wholly owned by an investment company, who had purchased it from another investment company, who purchased it from ... ; if you're the current ownership management, and someone throws a couple billion bucks at you (and Ducati is not worth that) - you sell out. In fact, you take the money and run like hell. LOL - ask H-D about investments in Italian moto companies.

Can't wait to start seeing Ducs with VW markings molded into the plastic bits.

After all the shit we've gone through with our current car (Golf TSI) I've sworn never ever to buy someting from the VAG group again.
So, I guess I can scratch Ducati from the list if I ever decide to buy another bike...
