I cant say for sure, but here are some honorable mentions

Madness

Everything they have ever done. I grew up through them in the 80's and was a new boy first year at big school when baggy trousers came out.

I went to the reunion gig in Frindsbury Park in 1991 loved it, thousands of us 20 somethings trying to recapture our teenage years.

I even forgive Suggs his solo stuff and Birdseye ads.

And this year when the new album came out. First time I have preordered a CD since Guns and Roses Use your Illusion 1 & 2 in about 1990.

The Jam

Again, music I grew up with and still play now.

Macc Lads

Everything. If you have never heard of them watch Fluffy Pup on youtube. Best pub band ever. Excuse the fact they are a bit northern and you will discover comedy genius to music, lyrics by Danno.

Sister of Mercy - This corrosion

Reminds me of shagging this horny goth bird once then being scared to go to sleep as she thought she was a vampire and I didnt want her biting my neck.

The Meteors - Wrecking Crew

I went to see them at Chatham Central Hall with a mate who was into the psychobilly thing. We both got bashed up by some big skinheads on the train on the way home, which was funnier than it sounds.

Candido - Jingo

The soundtrack to my pulling years. As opposed to my pulling myself years which have been everything since.

The Pogues

Everything, I like a bit of Hoirish rabble rousing.

Guns N Roses - Appetite for destruction

The first CD I ever wore out then bought another copy and wore that one out too.

Depeche Mode

Hated them in the 80's liked their later, darker stuff.

House of Pain - Jump around

I like a bit of Boston Irish rabble rousing.

Prodigy - The Fat of The Land

Fantastic album, no bad tunes on it.

Run DMC / Aerosmith

One of the greatest ever crossover recordings.

Foo Fighters - Everlong (live)

Bit commercial but I like Dave Grohl better than Kurt Cobain. Must be a funny age or something.

Loads more, too many to mention.

I grew up in the punk era and was liken led zeppelin, sex pistols, black sabbath, AC/DC, clash, buzzcocks, joan jett and other punk stuff. then into the post punk era i was a big fan of black flag, huska du, devo, stan wridgway and frank zappa
these days i find have channeled my inner anger into furious riding on the SD and i like my music a bit more mellow, hank williams, lucinda williams, hank jnr, in fact any of the williamsses, I dont wear no ipod whilst hammering the Sd either, the open acra's are wild punk music to me.
Here's a note to all my fellow SDer's, when i die and they do all the bulshit at the funeral service and there walking my coffin out of the chappel i want AC/DC highway to hell playing loud over the PA! listen to the lyrics and you will know what i mean

Kind of all of the above really. Grew up on metal/rock/punk, branched into hip hop, funk, jazz etc but it always comes back to rock. Too many to mention now and too many forgotten too. I found my old gig tickets last week in a shoebox....man that brought back some memories....best night of my life was Metallica Sept 1986, Hammersmith Odeon. I was 16. Anthrax supported and they were my 2nd fave band (after Metallica). Master of Puppets tour....what an album, hearing 'Battery' for the 1st time was like an epiphany when that album came out.

Anyway, I'm currently feeling the latest Kings of Leon, a Pink Floyd '70s retrospective, Pixies 'Doolittle', Radiohead 'In rainbows' and all others back to OK computer, Interpol, Elbow, the Doves, 'Badmotorfinger' Soundgarden, 'Goo' & 'Dirty' Sonic Youth, QUOTSA!! ....never tyre of them!! MGMT, Weezer (1st album mainly) etc....

Guitar Hero on Playstation is currently helping with the music in my life....love playing that thing
