Just found this clip on youtube.....bet he was gutted!
Seen this before and that's one hot R6
I know I might regret this but americans and bends.......
Common on R6.
The highly sculpted tank touches down as soon as it starts sliding and holes.

I helped a talented young rider who went onto ss600. He used a trumpet 636 at first but decided to switch to a R6.
First meeting out at a club meeting at Mallory, he'd just set pole and then went down on someones elses coolant at the elbow.

Poor fella watch his brand new bike go up in smole.

Certainly shows the limitations of dry chemical extinguisher when you've still got fuel and an ignition source present.
That is one hot ride for sure....they make tank sliders for the R6

great stretch of road that though...biking heaven!
Would rather it burn than get patched up, no return from that.
