It's a public holiday here today - 62nd anniversary of the liberation of the islands from the occupying Nazi forces who were booted out in 1945 after a 5 year presence. The Channel Islands were the only British Territory to be occupied by the Hun during WWII.
Normally they have a fairground but this year they decided to do something a whole lot better........... and most of it quite familiar to most on here.....
