Friendly Reminder ....

So, on Tuesday, as my wife and I were loading the truck for our 9 hour drive back to Sunny FLA, she said the words no man wants to hear: "Steve, it's bad, it's really bad" - I thought to myself - WTF?!

She said we had a flat tyre. Rear driver side.

15 minutes later, the tyre was changed (Yes, I had to retrieve the spare from the loaded trunk. That's why it took me so long. Yes, I have a Honda Ridgeline, a truck with a trunk) so we made it with the spare to the tyre place, had the original tyre patched and got on the road fine. No issues.

This is to remind you to check the pressure on the spare. I had not checked it since I bought the truck (150K miles) and the spare had only 22 psi. Supposed to have 60 psi.

I need to remind myself to check it , from now on, when I rotate tyres/ change the oil. Every 5k miles religiously.

That's all. Off the soap box now. Carry on. Nothing to see here.
