Fantastic, I'll do you a grand for that too!!

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

I must add that the above is entirely humerous in content and I do not intend in any way to support what would almost certainly be construed as an act of terrorism. So please do not kick my door in in the night, pin me down at gunpoint and 'disappear' me for a considerable length of time without the right of legal representation for supporting, encouraging or being connected with terrorism.
Sheesh, despite all the "hilarious" cynicism, London is a great city! Avoid the tourist trail and find it's arts scene. (I work there btw)

Or, book a trackday at Brands Hatch...not too far if you have transport.

Drink in the Castle Pub in Camden and get the opportunity to punch Amy Winehouse in the face.

Check out venues for gigs at Brixton Academy/Shepherds Bush Empire/Bar Academy Islington.

Shopping and drinking in Covent Garden.

Chinatown.

Harrods/Knightsbridge (if you like that sort of thing).

Tell you what, if you tell me what you like to do I'll make some more specific recommendations.
I recommend going straight to the Fuller's Griffon Brewery

for the duration, and then catch the flight home.

Or, look up Toby & keep him busy.
Ah this is a perfect opportunity for me to show off....
Actually Boris is not the Lord Mayor, that title currently belongs to some bloke called David Lewis and it refers to the City Of London (the square mile), as Lord Mayor he has no executive powers, it's more of a figurehead role.
Boris and Ken are/were Mayor of London and as such have far reaching executive powers.
It's a distinction a little like tumours; some are begnign and others are cancerous. I'll let you ddecide which is which...
Sheesh indeed people, should have posted this under hooliganism without a bike section instead of the politics section.

Still there was a couple of decent ideas here maybe.

Jimbo Chelsea bridge is close to where I will be staying the first couple of nights (Earls Court), so that I could check out real quick.

Also checked out Brighton Toby, looks crowded as fook on the beach (hope googles picture was taken on a weekend). But will definately try to make it there ( can I take train to there? )

And thanks for the info Shade, I'll check some of those things out. I'm really into military musuems / aircraft / warships / forts and the such like.
I figure I definately want to see the Imperial war musuem, and Im thinking about heading up to Duxford (esp. if I can take the train there).
Also I think I might want to go to Dover or Portsmouth and take a ferry over to France. At least thats some day stuff I have planned, need some night time plans as well.

A big Londonite are you Collyer?

Think I found an XR-125 I can afford to rent for the whole week, damn sure aint riding no scooter!
