#14If we question the (which is it now?) "climate change" dogma, then we're akin to creationist young-Earth'ers, or believe in farries(sic)? Guess we're not the only ones who have 'made up their minds'.
For every article of "smarter persons" you produce; a contra writing can be found. Arguments from authority don't really work anyway. Logical fallacy.
That's what's such a kick about people who are true-believers like you. You profess to have no dog in the hunt...but then toss off ad hominem, and argue that not only is the argument in bad faith, but shouldn't even be given a hearing! Do you honestly believe that there is no debate on the subject? If, as you say, you're involved in the industry...then you should know that weather is not climate and vice versa. Do you believe, as James Hansen does, that all of industry is and/or has been involved in some sinister conspiracy that should result in a criminal prosecution? Do you believe, as the Algore and many others do, that (which is it now?) 'climate-change skeptics' are akin to Holocaust deniers and should be treated as intellectual lunatics? Then prosecuted for crimes against humanity?? Or have any scientific credential stripped? It sure sounds like it.
Notice I did not address the science of (which is it now?) 'climate change', because that could go on and on and on. We can talk about the factual accuracy of GCM's; the various and sundry findings of so-called fact by the UN IPCC; ice levels at the polars; etc ad nauseum.
What I wanted to highlight here is the knee-jerk response you made in a good faith forum. You insulted everyone taking part in this thread. Tried to pass yourself off as an uninterested-but-informed authority....and only came off as self-righteouss. Dismissed anyone's thoughts as "...well, everyone is entitled to an opinion", when you made it quite clear that opinion carried about as much weight as shite on a flies wings.
But again, thanks for the apology.

#15look to the poles, this is some real serious sh*te we are speaking of, many species will be extinct in the next 20 years, I feel like we have reacted too
slowly to make a good gesture towards a positive responsive change, corporations and global environments (namely car emissions),
have brought this on. gluttonous, rebellious, self absorbed attitudes have undoubtedly contributed largely to the problem at hand.
As a active environmentalist and hazardous waste disposal site, i too am concerned to the extent of our forefathers reckless abandon to a pollutive
industrialized age, this is a real and present danger but for proof just look to the poles,
it is happening while i type this and is accelerating as we continue on a global scale to wreck the world we live in.
