Good roads again.

I relocated to Bristol yesterday. Rented out the big house I've spent five years renovating and moved into a small terraced house with no garage or driveway. Had to sort out a storage container type place to keep all my tools and workshop stuff and bikes of course. It will be very different life for a while.

But being back here makes me realise how shit the roads were in Surrey for bikes. Out here the roads around Somerset are awesome. Did a good eighty miles today and ended up down in Dorset. Even with bank holiday traffic it was great riding. Frome, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Dorchester.

Very hot in black leathers here though. Only bearable at speed, traffic lights a nightmare!
I'm not familiar with the UK at all. But looking at the satellite view on google maps there's a lot less greenery around.
Congrats on the move Bic,

Bet u gonna miss cutting the grass
I recently relocated from one side of Oz to the other and went from a 100 sqm workshop to a single car garage.
The biggest adjustment I had to make was not being able to tinker on a bike at leisure, which in turn has cut down on the amount of alcohol I consume.
The upside is I have moved to a place that now has hills, bends but shit roads and about a dozen pubs in walking distance.
Either way I am enjoying the new experience.
Have fun.
Sounds like a great place to live , jammy sod.
Decent weather too
