No more an idiot than 99.9% of the unskilled riders that view the snake as their own personal "free" racetrack - with little-to-no protective gear.

Gotta say the guy was looking pretty smooth through there until he jacked it just a little too much. Better than most clowns on full sports rides.

The Italian judge awarded him a perfect 6 for his finish.

Straight back up, cool as you like.

All the clips of Crashes I have seen .....seem to happen in exactly the same place.........something on the road ....cameraman aways gets it perfect....

I believe the road has a gentle drop in it...
I've seen so many clips that when I ride through
there I just take it easy...
The cops definitely like that spot too...
There are soooo many roads to ride up there...
For me it doesn't make sense to sit in the
mess of things...
The Rock Store is cool but always crowded
as Hell...

I know that corner well....and you are right Agro...hell of alot of crashes caught on video there. Main problem is the dirt that drops down on the road from the cliff above. All the squids see a video camera filming them and try to wick it up a bit....results are inevitable.

Love the slow mo replay's they do. Get to see his ankle tuck right in under the peg. That would have hurt fo sho! Brother put on a brave face though haha

Camera men! I rode a off road event and the camera man piled some logs up to make a jump on the course and caught me off guard. I hit it all wrong and went over the bars and ripped my headlight number plate right off. Camera clicking. He got some extra photo of me picking up my disloged bike parts and wanted to know if I would like to buy the photos. What I wanted was to deck the guy.
Looks like the HD was going about 25 mph for the guy to step off like that.

I do like the "do you want to spend more money on photos because your bike is toast attitude"

Southern Californians never cease to amaze... Is this the result of to many folks living in one area? Why would any one ride this over-populated, over-used, over photographed, over-policed, piece of road? For those of you not from here... California is two states. I think the border is around Mammoth.

Nothin worse than crashing in front of everyone . don't wish that on anyone . Look'd like he'd have made it but he got back on the throttle - or maybe it just sounded like he got on the throttle because the rear broke loose - either way feel sorry for the dude harley or not .

That's my favorite corner to take slow on the snake. My 2 cents, its shaded a lot of the day and fine dirt falls down from that steep hill leaving that section slick. The rest of the road is a freaking blast, its just that 1 stupid greasy corner where everyone hangs out to take pics and showboat.
