Ask any owner, go on any of the forums they have problems, mostly electrical that you wouldnt believe possible in this day and age.
They do look nice though.

#4I know it probably will not matter cos of geography but I had a deposit down on one of the Aprilia sxv 550 motards and the dealer could never
give me a straight answer on the ETA for 3+ weeks. I got my deposit back and 6 months later started hearing about all of the horror stories of rear
cylinder failure and throttle response problems that the US dealers seems to have no clue of a remedy, now I am scared to look into anything
unknown cos of poor dealer knowledge but as stated above, "geography" has something to do with it too. I am sure you have a strong dealer
network with full knowledge of the bike, they are the dope and I love the looks but the dealer here is now a personal friend of mine
(franchise was recently sold to a different guy) and he says they still have some troubles with them.

#5There's quite a lot of folk racing them in the UK and Europe and there have been som teething issues however I dont think there renowned for being unreliable. Saying that these bike probably get a fair bit of maintainance carried out.
