Sad news to see another bike apparel chain struggling. Especially so as one of our own works for them Hopefully the administrators can sort out the company and save as many jobs and stores as possible.
thanks Klinky for keeping your fingers crossed........ The Duchess is, as am i, hopeful that the problems can be resolved quickly so as to give continued employment to the 150 plus people who work throughout the country -( 49 branches in total IIRC)

Best of luck

People don't have the funds to buy premium stuff at fair prices..
Yeah fingers crossed for the The Duchess and all the other employees at Hein Gericke, they've made some cracking leathers at a reasonable price for years
That sucks big time. I've used them a fair amount over the years. Plus the staff at all three that I have visited have been very welcoming/helpful.

Hope everything goes well for all involved.
Fingers Crossed........someone will buy them...they sold good kit

Last night, whilst getting smashed with The Reaper and the lovely Duchess, 'how much worse can it get' was thrown out there by the Duchess. Providence, ignore her pleas of another example of a fooking good kick in the cunt...

Yeah sad really , Ive spent a fortune in there this year.
When you have to spend a £1000 for a decent waterproof suit , its easy to understand why they struggle , people dont have that sort of cash for gear anymore.
1 important point though is I was the only person who didnt get wet on a trip to Monza in May to watch them fooking jokers from WSBK and Pirelli , so you do get what you pay for I suppose
Well hello there peeps!
As you have probably heard by now Hein Gericke Norwich (the store I managed) closed as of the 4th September. Unfortunately with 32 other stores. I do hope the staff of the other branches find work quickly....I have been very lucky indeed........and in my case there is a fur and silver lined lining...... I was approached the same day as HG closing by Infinity Motorcycles to be the new store manager of their new store in Norwich! So as of 7th I received the keys and have been working like a Trojan to get it looking wicked!
So if there are bits your eyeing up check out the main infinity website. The product range is amazing in my eyes.
The Duchess
Great news, glad you've jumped straight into another good job
Yes congrats, are you Infinity's first homeless manager or is that a prerequisite of the interview process?

It always struck me that the homeless were a minority under represented in retail management so best of luck with the new job and dossing down in the stock room
Hey Luke.......nope not homeless lol. Reaper and I are moving to our new pad about 23rd and still got our existing rental till the 30th so week to move should do it. Can't wait it's got a lush garage!!
The directors are lovely, they originally came up to look at fixtures in shop ( as they have brought fixtures from other HGs that have closed ) had a natter with me, left came back and offered the job to me and my staff. Happy days!
Lol dossing isn't my thing I'm glad to say
