Nature has it's own will...

I was in The Dominican Republic earlier in the week and we got a bit of a kicking from Irene. Bit humbling how powerful nature can be.

The clouds are going backwards. The onslaught is about to begin. It needs to hurry up and be over with, I've got a couple races tomorrow afternoon!

Everything's gassed up, chainsaws at the ready, mancave has been cleared of valuables in case the basement takes on water & the power goes out... I REALLY need to get a generator.

You will be alright...been thru a few.
As long as you don't lose power and water for a week...than it sux

Central Mass ,, 1200ft up and steady bands of tropical rains,,,not a hell of a lot of wind as of yet,,,30-40 mph,,picked up 6 lbs of lobster this morning ,,gonna have a good lunch,,,
just lost power for 1/12 hours,,,back on now but the winds are increasing and the rain has subsided ,,,

We lost power for about 18 hours, but that's about it. There were several trees down in the neighborhood though.

You're not alone fellas, we had a bit of wind and rain last night here. I had to close the bedroom windows.

Well. After all the ruckus, in my city we got about 4-5 inches of rain. My neighborhood didn't lose power, but there were a few flickers when I thought it was going to go out, but we were lucky. All in all we got off lightly. And right now (11:00pm) its breezy, 65 degrees, not a cloud in the sky!!!

It just was a big blow,,,lost power twice ,,once for 1/12 hours , and again for 4 hours,,,glad it's gone

More "FLOOD'S" on the way better get your rubbers out but I hear next weekend will be ridin weather,,,,cool ,calm,,get ready,,,, as long as the roads don't wash out,,
