#6The full fat sdr was made from 08-11, not just in 08. The halfway twinseat sdr was introduced in 2012.

My 08SD will be up for grabs as soon as I get it cleaned up if anyone needs a modded 08 SD standard..
Good excuse to do a fly and ride....I can even escort you around the PNW...know it very well from a sport bikers point of view.

#18Ok so while we are at it am i the only '08 990 SDR owner who only just found out after years of ownership that the R decal isn't in fact missing from the left side of the headlight mask but it only came out with one on the right hand side..? Does anyone know why this is so?

#23Aye, many upgrades - afaik, ‘07 SDR is essentially standard SD with ‘08 SDR ‘cosmetics’.

#2407 sdr has the harder sdr suspension and longer rear shock, but as no.47 pointed out: the 120hp standard engine.
