and I liked it.

Went for a cruise today with some (cough) Harley riders. From Melbourne's western suburbs, west up into the mountains going the back way from Werribee through Bachus Marsh. Stopping first at the Greenvale Pub for a frothy then onto the Blackwood Pub for another couple frothies and a very nice chicken parma. Parked the Duke among a sea of Harley clones and umm Badasses(?) wearing various leather vests and bandanas(I was the only guy wearing a full face helmet and textile jacket). Looking at my ride in the midst of all that chrome it really hit me, DAMN MY BIKE IS FOOKING COOL . Beautiful twisty roads (even if the pack of 5 I rode with putted along like a bunch of old moles). Good company, good food, good ride.
Blackwood Pub is a popular destination for riders. Parked up was about 25 Harleys , a couple of Japanese cruiser clones and my Duke. It stood out like Miranda Kerr in.....well in a place where lots of ugly chicks hang out (Terrible analogy).
Weather was good, nice day for a ride.
It felt a bit weird riding in a Harley Pack, but it was fun, I recommend you guys try it one day.
I had to laugh when we got onto a fairly gently curved freeway onramp and one of the guys on a Fatboy scuffed his footboards on the road.
Anyway just thought I would share my experience with my fellow dukers. Think I need a shower now.

been there. i kinda got in with a group of Harley dudes riding for some cause. there were like a hundred of them. rather then wait, because they had police riding ahead and stopping/closing off intersections, i just joined them till i got to my destination! it was an odd experience.

In Portugal ( thankfully ) we don't have those Harleys packs slowing down the roads ehehe

But it should be awkward to ride between bikes in 1st gear all the time to keep up with them muahahahahaha
