#7My m8 has got a 2t 250 EXC (1998 made maybe), but he has always had problems with it.. Broken piston rings -> nikasil has gone from the cylinder -> new steel barrel in cylinder -> broken piston rings again and again because of the steel barrel can not lead away the heat.. But it was strong.
I have had a 2t Aprilia RX 125 and I always have problems with it, mostly with the power-valve (the worst design I ever seen), it broke piston rings too.
I can not trust 2t anymore.. My 2003 450 EXC was the best for enduro / hard-enduro, sometimes I went to a motocross track with it and I haven't got any problems with it! I loved that bike and I miss it every day
My another m8 has got an 525 Factory for racing but he went to 450 Factory too because it is strong enough and lighter.
I have had supermoto kit for the 450 EXC but the EXC is not for highway use, the engine will wear very quickly on road!
