Insurance problems

got a letter from my insurance company (quinn direct) today saying that they're not doing motorcycles any longer and therefore not renuing my insurance. Tried a few different brokers today and it's crazy quotes only. 9900 pounds is the worst and 1400 the best on TPFT. Biggest problem is apparently the garage, it has to be private and not a residential car park -rediculous since mine has 24hr security guard and big gates. Not sure what to do... If I don't find a better quote I'll probably take one with only third party coverage.
The 9900 quoting company had third party for 450 so I can only assume that they think the bike is guaranteed to be stolen more than once a year. Nice.

Have you tried Carole Nash? They're usually quite good.
tried ebike or lexham?
PM me and I will send you my mum's postcode. She will tell your insurance you keep the bike there and it is a low crime area, brick built garage ajoining the house with aditional security= low premium.

Must be good as she is storing my SDR til I manage to tell the missus I have bought it

Joe, believe me they're trying to stop us drinking now. They just want us to live in a lead lined box and only come out to pay tax.

Ah yes I can see why you're not impressed by them. That sounds like a very bad experience.
Did you not take it further with them?
