Here in about two weeks, i am scheduled to jump. It will be my first skydive, the jump height is 14,000 feet.

Anyone else ever do this? I am wondering what I have gotten myself into.

Unfortunately since this is my first jump and I don't want to go with a static line (like the old war movies) you have to go tandem. I am hoping my jump master doesn't know BTD.
I did one of these in Oz a few years ago, I didnt fancy a tandem nor a pre pulled job so spent a few hours training instead.

On the day of the jump got in the plane which was a tiny little thing, instructor 1 jumps out on to the triange of the wing I follow without hesitation with my right foot on the wheel of the plane holding onto the wing of the plane with my hands.

Next thing im flying down at terminal velocity with two instructors holding and arm and leg each.

I pull the cord and land myself (on my feet too )

Was an intense rush

Got in all on DVD still get a rush when I watch it back, if anyone knows how to put a DVD onto your computer let me know and will post up.

Did 5 bungee jumps in Cairns too, just as big a rush.....
For some reason I am ok with jumping out of a plane, but i cant bring myself to bungee jumping.

I looked at the DVD package to document the jump but they wanted somewhere around $100 US for it, so i decided not to.
Good Luck Khaos, I am a chicken with heights.. someday I am hopin to make it there though, my 18 yo daughter wanted me to jump on her b day.

I can not wait too much longer though, just may pass out for good.

I can try to help out on the vid, my best suggestion is to get in touch with BTD, not literally though...hehhee
It's on my "to do" list. I did the bungee thing and that was scary enough. Mind you smack the tarmac face first from to 200ft or 14000ft it all comes out the same in the end, so you may as well do the 14,000ft jump. Good luck!
