Man that sucks

I got a pull the other day as well. I was doing 40-ish in a 30 (open piece of road, no kids ect around) and had just exited a roundabout in a spirited fashion. It's a bike cop and I fortunately see him coming up behind me before I do anything even more stupid. Asks me how fast I think I was going a 1/4 mile back. Decide not to lie and just say sorry don't have a clue. He smiles, says "don't worry I'm not giving out tickets today but keep it down in town." Has a look over the bike, comments on the lack of chicken strips and spots the front all still balled up from Cadwell. We have a good chat about that and he sends me on my way with a smile. He tells me not to ride like a hooligan but he understands it must be hard on that bike

So far every pull I've had on the SD has resulted in that kind of experience. I thought it would be a licence loser when I bought it and I could have lost it more times than I've had hot dinners if the cop had been there but once again I was pleasantly surprised by our boys in blue.

not in australia... cops never just give a warning, no matter how polite or up front you are... best off just stone walling the cop and sorting it out in court.

PS: Aus cops are pricks
