LED-illuminated spoiler clock

Had a small accident and ended up with an extra spoiler of an SD. Wondered for a while what to do with it and then decided to go for a LED-illuminated clock to hang on the wall. All I need now is a proper wall for it.
It has 12 3mm LED's on it, a 9V battery as a power source and a LDR-resistor (Light Dependent Resistor) to automatically adjust the LED on/off/brightness when the amount of light reduces. Think it works out just fine and should be a KTM factory manufactured fan item. Will sell the rights for the patent for gents in Austria, pls PM me

This is how it looks:

And the back of it with all the hi-tech:

LED's on in semi-dark conditions:

And in pitch black:

Any ideas how to get the pointers to show up as well?

Looking good, nice idea.

As far as the clock hands go, I guess you need to do something like they do on cars these days, the speedo and rev counter needles are at a guess some sort of acrylic and there is obviously some kind of led hidden at the bottom of the needle which makes it light up.

Thks for the tips! Think the paint would be easy to apply. If I just paint the tips of the pointers then I could see 'em in daylight as well, otherwise orange pointers will just fade in the background. Need to buy original washer and bolt for the mounting hole to bolt in on the wall.

Robbo, parts cost like 5€, drilling, soldering and gluing leds' etc. took like an hour... Spoiler itself as new was app. 240€ (!) Instructions for the circuit floats all over the net.
