Just did the London show as I do every year. But this time got a bargain. Been looking for a Rukka jacket for ages and can't find a decent one on Ebay that goes for much less than retail. Anyway, got a new one that retails at £699 for £399. Best jacket ever.

Here's the rest.
The best classic

The best modern classic. I would have one of these if I had a spare £17,000

The best ridiculously expensive bike, (£60,000)

The best ugly bike, (folding pillion footrest design is clever though)
Image
The best waste of a grinding disc ever

Small show compared to the NEC but getting better. I didn't go see the Revolution show and Fuel girls cos the website was so shyte that it didn't tell me what I would have been paying for. Was it any good?

The highlight for me, was watching open-mouthed as my mate Ben put down a deposit on a Norton Cafe Racer with Chris Walker, while standing next to Keanu Reeves. (I was slack-jawed at his sudden deposit, not the Hollywood A-Lister)...

I can't help admitting I like the Diavel (for when I retire), and the sexiest bikes there were the Nortons and Ducatis. Triumphs are great, but they look like poor components, paint and plastics beside a KTM - or even a Ducati.

hold on..the best bits were the MCN/CAROLE NASH birds in their lycra...fook the bikes.....nice to see all the clothing outlets getting rid of their 2008 stock!!

Saw the Diavel at the Bangkok bike show a few weeks back and the only thing I like about it was the rear pegs as well. That Norton looks pretty cool.

I went. Saw the Fuel Girls when they supported Motorhead a couple of years back. Basically it birds in their underpants doing a fire breathing act.
As for the bikes.. The Norton''s are highly desirable. I've already ummmed and ahhhed about getting one. I may yet....As for Ducati; found myself really liking the Streetfighter, despite having a test ride last summer and not going for it. I might change my mind...Except that both the Nortons and the Ducatis are an absolute shit-load of money. So probably, I'll do what I'm good at doing, ie Nothing and just keep running the Superduke.
