#2The release of the new kwaka Z, the Beemer S1000R and even the MV Dragster has drawn quite a few comments here but this is getting nothing at all. maybe all KTM riders have big feet.

#3Is it wrong that I have no love for the new Duc Monster? I think its because they put the fooker up on a pedestal at the Long Beach Moto show so you couldn't even sit on it. Every other Duc I've seen at that show that has been on a pedestal was still approachable and you could definitely sit on it. After reading that review, I guess I know why they did that. I'm also not sold on why there is a 10 hp difference between models. As far as I can tell from the product description, its strictly a mapping issue. I absolutely despise detuned engines. I guess Duc couldn't justify the $2500 price differential based on the "Ohlins" suspenders alone?

#6I think it looks fooking ugly! Saw it and sat on it at the NEC last year and no way I'd consider getting one. Don't know what Ducati were thinking, they can design things of beauty but this is a million miles from that.

#8Yeah I'm serious. There is nothing edgy about the bike. Looks like a middle aged man's naked. Whole seat unit/tail is so boring. Don't like the massive tank but I know that's a Monster thing, still I've never been a Monster fan. With the exception of the instrument cluster it doesn't get near the 1290 for me.

#9Got to agree with Klinky, this thing looked cutting edge 20 years ago, now it just looks like one of the many Monsters on the market. How many different models has there been since its release, all looking basically the same?

#12No more air cooled, too many valves, weight must be up? The original monster was minimalism, even more so once the air box and heavy stock mufflers where replaced with pods and carbon.

#20Styling is bulbous and front heavy... not pretty. The tail looks good though. Loving that swingarm mounted mid guard/ number plate Mount. The sd would look so much better with one of those... Someone design one please
