Any of you guys ride? What's you trail slayer? Just bought a 2011 Trek/Fisher, picking it up tomorrow in Chicago. I'm pumped. The "close enough" KTM color of the bike sold me.

#3My bad, I bought a Cobia 29er. I didn't want a full suspension bike, and my price range was only in the 1k USD range. I've been dropping too much coin on my SD lately...

#4I've got a Kona Cinder Cone. It's a great bike. I didn't want full suspension either because it scrubs speed when pedaling. One thing I wish it had was XTR components. On steep hill climbs it's real nice to have quick precise shifters, except XTR components are worth more than the bike itself.

#5I've got a Specialized Tricross. Just riding the tarmac to work shakes my fooking teeth out, so I won't be taking it up any mountains...

#7A specialized P3. I used to use it on short RedBull runs, but I stupidly used it to go to work (all road on the way there) and its been stuck there ever since.

#12Taking receipt of a new Giant Trance X4 very soon I hope. In the meantime I am flogging my current KTM chicago (shameless plug).
Am getting into it more these days since finding out the Olympic MTB track for 2012 is only 8 miles from my house.
(it's closed off tho, I have managed to ride about 20m of it tho )
