My advice is to just enjoy your first track day and spend the morning just getting to know the track and not pushing too hard.

I remember my first track day and I let the red mist get the better of me and went into Druids too fast and ended up in the gravel. Bent my from disc so that was it - over. It spoilt the day, (obviously), and I felt like a dickhead for not just taking my time.

The zip is for insurance. Not for trying out
