My one piece Dainese leathers turned into a two piece

Just got my favourite old Dainese Techno leathers converted into a two piece suit by Hideout Leathers in Essex.http://www.hideout-leather.co.uk/contacts
I know some of you will think this is a crime but I only really used them on track and now they are more practical and I can use them on the road and everyday:lol: Hideout did a great job, really professional. They also added in some length to make them fit better and patched up a few holes I'd crashed into the arms. You only need to look at the lining, (which they redid throughout the whole suit using most of the original Dainese material and adding some new leather and other stuff when necessary) to see the quality of their work. Recommended.

Nice job!
Can I ask how much all of that work cost?

Cool Bic, I use a one peice Kangaroo suit for track riding but on the road I dont want to walk around in a crouch like the missing link or climb out of the jacket part and walk around like 4 armed groper gimp so I have two peice leathers for road riding. More pockets in a 2 peice too so no need for a gay lifestyle bumbag.

Whatever the cost it saved you buying another set. Let me know their number as I have a Dainese two peice that may need some of their magic. Why did you get Motoronin to model them though?

+1 on the Techo. I had the one previous to yours, almost the same but without the carbon on the shoulders and the vagina on your arse

Like yours, mine was plain black. I got it in a sale at Laguna for 600 quid in 1999 which was a good price for the then top of the range Dianese. Only trouble was, it was a 40 inch chest and I hadnt been a 40 inch chest since I was about 16.

Didnt wear it on the road as I had a two peice. But most of my early trackdays sessions were done on one breath. Breath in,zip up, do the session or expire halfway through, back into the pits, unzip, breath.

I wouldnt part with it for years though. In the end I sold it to a mate who loved it but it was just a tad to tight for him. I think he still has it and between us we have probably worn it about 8 times total.

Agree about the quality decline too. My last Dianese two peice was a T Age. I used to love top of the range Dianese and wanted the Bora but I just couldnt justify the 1200 quid price. I have the 175 quid Speed Metal gloves now loved them when I bought them but wouldnt honestly recommend them. I usually wear 75 quid Arlen Ness gloves for everything.

It is the T Age that may go to Hideout. I crashed twice in it so it needs a bit of TLC. Mind you I hadnt crashed for 18 years before those and havent crashed since fook it, suit must be jinxed I wont bother

Great idea Bic, they did a really good job, looks like they are a factory made 2 piece. I have a damaged Dainese jacket which I will call them about.
