I just swapped my good, but tired, Yamaha R6 track bike for a 2008 Honda CRF450R. I am planning to do some Supermotard racing here in DK.

MX and Supermotard is the only way to practise some 2 wheel fun around here on a weekly basis (besides speedway.... ), i am too old for MX (lack of skill). 70% road, and 30% dirt, is OK for me.......

Any other Supermotard riders here......

Did you race pure Supermotard, or was it on track only.....

I have met some Supermotards on different track days, and if there isn't to many straights, they are quite hard to get rid off (once they have their gearing sorted..... )

I am wanting to go this direction also, when i am at my local racetrack on my kaw 650 versys, I am always running around with the motards, we can spank

most all of the sportbikes in the infield and then they kill us in the straights, there is something strangely appealing about doing more with less.

I bought already in supermoto racetrim. I did upgrade the brakes though as I didn't get on with the system the previous owner fitted.

Dont mention Rossi to Ducati Pete, you will get him all agitated

Luke, I like Rossi, I just understand him better than the tinted glasses brigade.

Rossi fans however are often the most ill informed "race fans" one could hope to meet. Most of them think GP racing started in 2000
